Avital Sandler Loeff is a board director of JDC-Israel and manages “Israel Unlimited” - a strategic partnership between the JDC, the Israeli government and the Ruderman Family Foundation - to develop innovative services for people with disabilities. She is proud of leading many internationally recognized efforts to promote independent living.
Avital is an expert on the subject and lectures at many conferences in Israel and around the world. She coordinates the Global JDC’s International Commission on Integration.
Prior to her arrival at the JDC, she taught program evaluation at Tel Aviv University, worked as a researcher at the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute, and before that, was a clinician.
She holds a master's degree in occupational therapy with a focus on program evaluation, and is a graduate of the 92nd Street Y–Ford Fellows Program at the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
Avital is married to Yoav, the mother of Michali and Noga, and lives in Beit Zayit.
