Avi Levin is Deputy Director of Meir Hospital, a specialist in internal medicine and medical administration. His duties include responsibility for innovation in research and development at the hospital, where he leads processes of innovation and technology with government offices and start-ups.
In his previous position, he served as an expert in medical administration, as the medical assistant to the CEO of Ichilov Hospital, Prof. Roni Gamzo. Prof. Gamzo continues to be a role model for Avi, shaping the management methods that he uses today. As a senior physician specializing in internal medicine and in medical management, Avi has developed his clinical capabilities in parallel with his growth as an expert in internal medicine while integrating medical management.
Avi has academic degrees in several fields: an MD and master’s in public health and health systems management; an LL.B, and a BA in economics. He is currently enrolled in an executive master’s program focusing on innovation in healthcare.
